🔴Malaysia SST Updates (Effective 2025–2027)
Malaysia’s Ministry of Finance announced key point SST changes：
📌Reduce Service Tax on Rentals (from 2026)
✍️Service tax reduced from 8% to 6%.
✍️MSME exemption threshold raised from RM1m to RM1.5m annual turnover.
✍️New MSMEs get 1-year tax exemption from registration.

📌Sales Tax Exemptions on Essential Inputs
✍️Animal feed, fertilisers, and pesticides are exempt for registered manufacturers.

📌Extension for Construction Agreements
✍️Contracts signed before 1 July 2025 without reviewable clauses get a 1-year extension.
Service tax exemption now lasts until 30 June 2027 (total 2 years).

📌Exemption for Places of Worship
✍️From 1 July 2025, construction of mosques, suraus, temples, churches, and shrines is fully service tax–exempt.

🔴2026年马来西亚SST政策更新重点
马来西亚财政部宣布，自 2026年1月1日 起实施新的SST政策.
重点如下：
📌租赁服务税下调
服务税：8% → 6%
✍️MSME免税门槛：100万 → 150万令吉
✍️新成立MSME：首年免税

📌关键原材料免销售税 🌾
✍️包括：动物饲料、肥料、农药

📌建筑合约免税期延长 🏗️
✍️2025年7月1日前签署、无可审查条款的合约
免服务税延长至 2027年6月30日（共2年）

📌宗教场所建设免税 🕌
✍️自2025年7月1日起
清真寺、祈祷室、寺庙、教堂等 建设服务全免服务。
