This is the 9th edition of IEEE PECon, which is jointly organized biennially by IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Malaysia Chapter and IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Malaysia Chapter.

The conference provides engineers and academicians with the opportunity to share experiences in recent developments, current practices and future trends in power and energy. This event will feature a unique platform for discussing issues and developments in electrical power, power electronics, electrical drives, renewable energy, control systems and its associated engineering fields. It will also give a networking opportunity for establishing international relationships, the exchange of ideas and experiences amongst the delegates. PECon2022 program will feature keynote and plenary talks, technical paper presentations, technical exhibitions, and gala dinner.

Authors are invited to submit full papers in the following areas of interest:

Prospective authors are invited to submit full papers of 4 to maximum of 6 pages (A4 size), in the form of PDF file to the conference electronically through EDAS in the following link https://edas.info/N29280. All submitted papers will be judged based on their quality and relevance through double-blind reviewing, where the identities of the authors are withheld from the reviewers. As an author, you are required to preserve the anonymity of your submission, while at the same time allowing the reader to fully grasp the context of related past work, including your own. Common sense and careful writing will go a long way towards preserving anonymity.

The 2022 IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON POWER SYSTEM TECHNOLOGY (POWERCON) will be held at Pullman, Kuala Lumpur, MALAYSIA on 14-16 September 2022. The aim of the conference is to provide a premier platform for electrical engineers and researchers to present their works and to share experiences and ideas in power and energy engineering with experts and scholars from around the world. Started in Beijing, China in 1998, POWERCON is now an biennial power engineering conference organized in Asia-Pacific Region.

The conference program will feature tutorial sessions, plenary sessions, technical paper presentations and technical exhibition. Distinguished speaker will be invited to deliver keynote speeches and invited talks on emerging technologies in power and energy engineering. Attendees will have the opportunity to interface with experts from all related fields. Prospective authors are invited to submit manuscript in English. Interested parties without paper are also invited to participate as attendees at the conference. Papers that are accepted and presented at the conference will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and will be included in IEEE Xplore digital library ISBN 978-1-7281-6350-5 (subject to the approval of the IEEE Technical Program Committee) and indexed in SCOPUS.
