The success of his 2021 debut album "Modern Africa Part 1 - Ekhaya" on Armada Music, which featured a handpicked selection of South Africa's most talented vocalists, as well as remixers such as Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, The Martinez Brothers, Dense & Pika, saw unmatched support across the board! The highly anticipated 'Modern Africa Part 2' will drop this summer. As Themba’s productions continue to break the mould, his rapid ascent has rendered him an in-demand remixer and lead to him adding his magic to artists including Paxx (Tulum), House Gospel Choir, Deepshakerz, Kevin Saunderson, Hosh & 1979. Fresh for 2022 are remixes for DJ Seinfeld on Ninja Tune and Kerri Chandler’s classic ‘Bar A Thym’. Career highlights have included playing at Paris Fashion Week, supporting Faithless on tour, and his nominations for ‘Best Newcomer’ and ‘Best Breakthrough DJ’ at the Ibiza DJ Awards in his debut years. His music is consistently released to great critical acclaim, being lauded by the likes of Mixmag, DJ Mag Ibiza, DJ UK, Ushuaia Magazine, Faze and many more. 2021 also saw Themba host the famous BBC Radio 1 Essential mix, following a string of guest mixes on the station.
