Have you seen any Monarch Butterflies? The migration has begun and one of the big migration routes goes right over us. Peak migration is expected across the Great Lakes region over the next 3 weeks. Unlike the bird migration that is mostly at night, you can see these butterflies on occasion flying during the day or even roosting on trees in early the morning. The average monarch butterfly flies 2,000 to 3,000 miles to winter in Mexico.
