Voudou Ropes

Thanks to for the invitation to make underwater sh***ri photo session! ⁠

Our model .yogi chose this beautiful yellow dress and the red rope fit just so perfect on it. The way the fabric flowed together with the rope felt soft, floating, and almost unreal.⁠

Marina made Russ feel very safe and guided her through a workshop on underwater breathing and posing before we started. I honestly still can’t believe this was her first underwater photoshoot. She did amazing.⁠

Underwater, everything changes. Breathing becomes slower and more intentional. There is no noise, no distractions, no rush. Just silence, movement, breath, and the body flowing together with the rope.⁠

I think rope already creates this magical floating feeling of surrender and softness, but underwater you can feel it even more deeply.⁠
It becomes meditative in a completely different way.⁠
