We were in Colombia and I took the chance to shoot a documentary for .official about one of the most unbelievable stories I’ve come across in music. The Ultra Metal in Medellín.

Bombs, narcos, paramilitaries and a group of kids figuring out how to survive it all through music, creating one of the coolest metal genres ever.

I thought I knew what I was going to film but reality went way beyond that.

It’s been an intense process and beautiful one too.
