Blue Nation

🇺🇸 How many times have you seen a baby octopus? Chances are that most of you answered NONE! Well here you are! This is a throwback picture taken by our buddy Bob a while ago. This little fellow is like an inch long and extremely lucky to be in the open without a care in the world. Octopi are both prey and predators, but here in the Gulf they are mostly prey, as they are not very large species here and plenty of animals will target them, like groupers, moray eels, sea lions and...humans!

🇲🇽 ¿Cuantas veces has visto un pulpo bebé? Posiblemente la mayoría han respondido ¡NINGUNA! BIen, pues aquí tienen uno. Esta foto fue tomada por nuestro colega Bob hace un tiempo. Este pezqueñín mide quizá dos centímetros y muy afortunando de estar campando libremente por el arrecife. Los pulpos son ambos presa y depredador, pero aquí en el Golfo son mayormente presa, ya que no crecen muy grandes y hay muchas especies que los comen, como cabrillas, morenas, lobos marinos...¡y humanos!

🇺🇸 Blue Nation was established in Loreto in 2018 with a clear mission of offering a state of the art service and updated knowledge. A big part of it is our vocation for advanced diving and exploration projects that keep us honed and current. Our team consistently explores, discovers and map uncharted reefs. Some of our signature dives are places only known by us, a few are challenging and deep dives better suited for decompression divers and mixed gas dives. This is the reason Blue Nation was the first shop to offer NITROX mixes in Loreto from the get go, and is still the only one offering technical diving mixes and services.
At Blue Nation we welcome every diver and every level, but we pride ouselves on our pioneering dives and advance training. The Gulf of California remains mostly unexplored at depth, and one can only dream how much more is there to discover but the main premise ramains true: the harder it is to get there, the more wonderous it gets.

🇲🇽 Blue Nation comenzó sus andares allá por 2018 con una misión clara: ofrecer un servicio de estándar elevado y conocimiento actualizado. Una parte importante de esto es nuestra vocación por los buceos avanzados y proyectos de exlporación que nos mantienen actualizados y afinados. Nuestro equipo explora, descubre y mapea nuevos arrecifes de forma consistente. Algunos de nuestros buceos estrella son solo conocidos por nosotros y unos pocos son solo accesibles en buceos de descompresión y con mezcla de gases. Esta es la razón por la que Blue Nation fue el primer operador de Loreto que ofreció NITROX, y sigue siendo el único que ofrece mezclas de gases y servicios de buceo técnico.
En Blue Nation acogemos buceadores de todos los niveles y colores, pero también nos enorgullecemos de nuestros buceos pioneros y entrenamiento avanzado.
Las profundidades del Golfo De California permanecen en su mayoría inexploradas y solo podemos soñar con las maravillas que nos aguardan. Una cosa es cierta: cuanto mas remoto y difícil es para llegar, mas espectacular se vuelve.
