Exploring Within
10/05/2026
Day 1 of Her Nature Remembered Retreat was all about exploring our relationship to earth, ʻāina, land. It was about embodying the sense of grounding and belonging.
We tapped into the medicine of forest bathing, stillness, reflection, and rest. the medicine of fully immersing oneself in nature. No rush, or pressure to do anything or be anything. Just as nature is in no rush, be began to explore our own natural rhythms.
We did a mindfulness based forest bathing walk to tap into the senses while intentional slowing down our pace to really notice and observe the beauty all around us and within us.
We journaled in the forest while being held within a trees roots. Acknowledging the seeds were cultivating in this season of our lives (hope, belonging, patience, trust, peace, joy, self love), and how we can be the water, fertilizer, and sunlight for these seeds to grow. While also acknowledging the weeds that need to decompose for these gardens to flourish.
We did an silent disco wellness music and movement journey to reconnect with our inner child, and tap into deeper self love.
We collected items from the forest to represent the things we’re grateful for in our lives and co-created a beautiful nature mandala made of all natural materials.
We planted an Ohia Lehua tree, to represent all of our intentions, prayers, and wishes for ourselves and for the collective of our planet earth.
We created beautiful lei po’o, Hawaiian flower crowns to remind ourselves of the queens we are.
This was was a permission slip to simply be and listen to our intuition. Tending to the garden of our minds, bodies, and spirits
What a gift it’s was to grounding in the most beautiful cloud forest and into our inner truths.
