Every year on February 14th 🗓️, people all over the world 🌍 celebrate Valentine’s Day. It is a very popular holiday! 🎈 People give beautiful flowers 💐, sweet chocolates 🍫, and romantic cards ✉️ to the people they love. 🥰

But who was Saint Valentine? 🤔 He was a priest ⛪ in Rome 🇮🇹 many years ago. At that time, the Emperor 👑 was named Claudius II. He was a very strict man! 😤 He said: "Young men cannot get married! 🚫💍 They must be soldiers ⚔️ and fight in the army 🪖."
Valentine thought this was wrong ❌. He wanted to help lovers ❤️. So, he married couples in secret 🤫💒. The Emperor found out and was very angry! 😡 Valentine was sent to prison ⛓️ and died for his actions. 🥀

Today, we celebrate this day to remember his kindness 🕊️. In some countries, like Finland 🇫🇮, it is not only for boyfriends and girlfriends 👩‍❤️‍👨. It is a day for all friends 🤝👯‍♂️! People send messages to their best friends to say "Thank you for being there." 💖🌈

A long time ago, three wise men lived in the East 🌏. Their names were Melchior, Caspar, and Balthazar. They were very smart 🧠 and studied the stars in the night sky 🌌.
One night, they saw a new, very bright star 🌠. They knew this star was a special sign. It was the "Star of Bethlehem." They decided to follow it to find a new king 👑.
The journey was very long 👣. They traveled across hot deserts 🌵 and high mountains 🏔️ on their camels 🐪. They carried three special gifts for the king: gold 💰, frankincense 🪵, and myrrh 🏺.
