O Plano é parte do Projeto de Água e Saneamento de Lilongwe (LWSP), financiado pelo Banco Mundial e promovido pela Lilongwe Water Board (LWB). O Plano inclui uma fase de diagnóstico, estudo institucional, definição de soluções, estratégias de melhoria e projetos de execução prioritários.

ENGIDRO leads the Portuguese joint-venture that will carry out the Sanitation and Drainage Improvement Strategy and Master Plan for the city of Lilongwe, capital of Malawi. The Plan is part of the Lilongwe Water and Sanitation Project (LWSP), financed by the World Bank and promoted by the Lilongwe Water Board (LWB). The Plan includes a diagnostic phase, institutional study, improvement strategy, and preparation of priority detailed designs.
