Keith Timothy Kafisi known as Keith Timotheus (born May 2, 1997) is a Malawian Christian Rap/Hip Hop recording Artist, Singer, Songwriter, Minister of God's Word, Actor, Dancer and the Cofounder of THE RESURRECTION based in Lilongwe his home town where he was born and raised. He has recorded both as a solo artist and the founding member of THE RESURRECTION. The whole journey started in 2015 upon e
ncounter with IPzenco and founded "THE RESURRECTION" in conjunction with Ancient Chronicle (now Juma), signed Frank Kadzuwa and recorded their first single "MUNATIFELA" at Waves of Glory Records in May 2015. Thence, Keith Timotheus got deeply rooted into the ministry, done quite exceptional and been called to different parts of Malawi for stage performances. He has shared his stage with some international artists like Martin PK and some well known local artists like Suffix, Kelvin Sings, Mastol, Mista Gray, Sir Creedy, Beuce Africa among others. In 2018, Keith Timotheus went solo on "NDACHILOWA" seconded by his breakthrough single "AM ON MY WAY" that has hit so big in Malawi and on other Malawian Air Stations such as Transworld Radio (TWR), Channel for All Nations (CAN) Radio among others. It's been ranked on the first position for a couple of months on Reverbnation.com in the Lilongwe Gospel Chart and for a numerous times in the top ten chart of Youth Watch show on CAN Radio. In 2019, Keith Timotheus was awarded Best Gospel Rap Artist of LUANAR - NRC Campus and was again nominated in 2020 as the Best Gospel Artist of LUANAR - NRC Music Awards 2020. Recently, his recent song "SANADZIWE" was nominated as the Best Song of The Year of RFPMAM 2021 Presidential Awards and he's been awarded a global Best Upcoming Music Artist award of RFPMAM and again as the Best RFPMAM Artist of RFP - Lilongwe branch. Currently, he's working on his first EP, "FULL LIGHTS ON" to be released in no time from now, "SANADZIWE" being from the EP.
