Vanakkam,

We wish to inform you that all the 64 beds at Meenatchee Home are fully occupied. We regret that we are unable to admit any new residents until further notice.

Meenatchee Home is licensed under the Residential Care Home Act 2003 by the Ministry of Social Security to cater for the needs of 64 elderly/frail or disabled persons. It is a charitable institution which relies on donations from the public, institutions and residential fees paid by individuals either privately or sponsored by the Ministry of Social Security who pays us a modest sum to cover the hospitality element of the care we provide as well as some specialized equipment. Established in 1998, the Home is owned and managed by the Hindu Maha Jana Sangham.

Meenatchee Home is registered as an NGO and recognised as a Non-Profit Making Organization. It has been successfully enrolled for CSR (CSR Registration Number: NSIF/2021/0014) under the National Corporate Social Responsibility (NCSR) Foundation.

Residential Fees (effective January 2025):
• Rs 17,500 per month
• An additional Rs 2,000 for diapers, if applicable

Meenatchee Home under the aegis of the Hindu Maha Jana Sangham

We are pleased to inform you that the Residential Care Homes Board of the Ministry of Social Integration, Social Security and National Solidarity has renewed the licence of Meenatchee Home and approved an increase in the number of registered beds from 54 to 64.

Established in 1998, Meenatchee Home is owned and managed by the Hindu Maha Jana Sangham.

Meenatchee Home is a registered NGO and is recognised as a non-profit-making organisation. It is also enrolled under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Scheme (CSR Registration Number: NSIF/2021/0014) with the National CSR Foundation.

Residential Fees: Rs 17,500 per month
Additional Charges: Rs 2,000 per month for diapers, where applicable
