Muscular dystrophy is more than a condition—it is a daily journey that requires strength, and support. Today, we highlight the importance of accessible healthcare, early diagnosis, continuous rehabilitation and emotional support for both patients and their families.

Together, we can build a more inclusive and supportive community where no one is left behind.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cedric Matoka, aged 22 years, who left us at 4:00 a.m. today.

Cedric was a courageous young soul who touched the lives of many with his strength. His passing leaves a great void in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The funeral will take place today at 15:30 at Royal Road, Trou d’Eau Douce.
The religious ceremony will be held at the St Esprit, Bel Air church at 16:00 hrs, followed by the burial at the cemetery of St Julien Village.

We extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones during this extremely difficult time. May his soul rest in peace 🤍
