The Malta Guide Dogs Foundation is a registered NGO (VO/0252) whose aim is tooffer services for Visually Impaired Persons. Most of the volunteers who work within the organisation have lost their sight themselves. Thus ,they know the needs and difficulties of all those who use the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation's services. Nonetheless all the volunteers are fully committed to the tasks and challenges that they face every day. For once the blind are creating and maintaining a service for the blind!

The Malta Guide Dogs Foundation is back at this year's Malta International Book Fair with Is-Sigriet tas-Siġill by Alfred Reale. All funds collected from the sale of the book (€12) go to assist the foundation to get another guide dog for the blind or visually impaired. Please come and help us raise enough money for this worthy cause.

No fewer than three guide dogs and officials from the Malta Guide Dogs Foundation were invited to be hosted on the NET TV magazine programme Ġimgħa b'Ġimgħa, presented by Josef Bonello, last week. Our Chairman Joseph Stafrace is seen with his guide dog Toby, Christine Mifsud, who works with the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability (CRPD), is with her guide dog Dora, MGDF Board member Malcolm Naudi and Alfred Reale, also an MGDF Board member, with his guide dog Adele.
