BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT EXECUTIVE

Key Responsibilities
• Manage data entry processes while ensuring accuracy and system integrity.
• Coordinate and oversee commercial logistics planning.
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records and databases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
• Ensure company procedures and service standards are consistently maintained.
• Prepare quotations and identify opportunities to upsell services.
• Lead, motivate, and support the team to achieve high performance and operational excellence.

Duties will include:

• Handle data input and ensure system accuracy
• Oversee commercial logistics planning, scheduling and ex*****on.
• Maintain excellent business professional relationships with clients.
• Corresponding with clients & stakeholders
• Maintain accurate and up to date records on company’s databases
• Collaborate with teams across departments for smooth operations
• Ensuring company standards are met to ensure a smooth service to our clients.
• Issuing of quotes to clients and upselling of services

The ideal candidate will have:
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong commercial mindset supported by analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• The ability to excel in a fast-paced, performance-driven team environment.
• Outstanding organisational and time-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English and Maltese.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• A positive, solution-oriented “Let’s Do” attitude.
• Proven experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations.
• Industry knowledge within the shipping sector will be considered a strong asset.
• Leadership potential, with the ambition and drive to grow professionally and take on greater responsibility.
• A continuous learning mindset with a genuine interest in business growth, operations, and leadership development.
