This method has yielded various gains its members. However, when the situation requires otherwise, the MPU won’t hold back to take the necessary measure be it legal or administrative. We wish him every success in his new role and look forward to collaborating with him to further improve the working conditions and welfare of police officers.

During today’s security-related Cabinet meeting, the Malta Police Union was represented by Colton Grech Darmanin.

The Union expressed its appreciation to Hon. Byron Camilleri for his continued availability to meet, listen, and consult with the union on matters concerning police officers.

The Union also took this opportunity to highlight the importance of officers being covered by health insurance and benefiting from priority access to public healthcare, in recognition of the risks and responsibilities associated with policing.
