📢 Calling Parents of Autistic Young People Who Use AAC

The Autism Parents Association is supporting an important research project by The Malta Trust Foundation (TMTF), led by Prof. Anne-Marie Callus and Prof. Ruth Falzon.

The researchers are looking for autistic young people aged 15–25 who communicate using Alternative and Augmentative Communication (AAC) to share their experiences as they transition into adulthood.

💙 Why take part?
Your son or daughter’s experiences can help shape a policy document and a short video that reflect the real needs and wishes of autistic young people who use AAC.

📍 Interviews:
✔ Can be held in person or online
✔ At a time and place that suits the participant
✔ Last around 1 hour (with breaks or split sessions if needed)
✔ A parent, sibling, guardian, or another support person can attend if desired
✔ Communication will be through the participant’s preferred method

Participation is entirely voluntary, and all information will be kept confidential. Participants may withdraw at any time.
