Born exactly a month before Christmas in 1997 Gianluca Azzopardi Alamango a.k.a ALAMANGO came into this world with his dancing shoes on, as ever since he was a child he was captivated by music. Growing up he always enjoyed listening to various types of genres from countless artists nearly every second he could ! (He would even discretely wear headphones during lessons at school ... �)
Around the
year 2013 ALAMANGO discovered the beautiful world of DJing when he started attending underground parties at a young age. He instantly fell in love with the underground scene which would later become his passion. This led him to buy the equipment he could afford at the time and spent countless hours of practicing alone in his bedroom trying to constantly improve his abilities, until eventually he landed his first gig in Paceville (Malta). His music selection varies from Deep Underground music to the hypnotic percussion of Progressive House verging even on to Techno tunes with heavy kicks and breathtaking basslines. Throughout the years ALAMANGO has even hosted his own events, while still landing various gigs putting him on the same line-ups as top foreign DJs, ; Dennis Horvat, Stereo Underground, Wanklemut, James Zabiela and Moonwalk and ALL of Malta's best local DJs including Progressive Legend DJ RUBY. ALAMANGO promises to deliver the best clubbing experience to those who are willing to explore with him his passion for music and unique track selection. Throughout the years he has become known as one of Malta's most promising artists. His restless work as a DJ, Organiser and Promoter has implanted his influence throughout every extension of the underground scene thus making a wide impact on the local electronic music culture. Fueled by the hunger to reach his goals and achieve his dreams, his inner strength and self-belief have shaped his engaging personality and helped him grow into the dissident DJ that he is today ... delivering exceptional sets purely for music lovers and people who enjoy connecting their energy through dance ... celebrating life.
