• For Schools: Groups are ideal for children with foundational skills needing practice, confidence, and peer motivation. Can also complement in-house support

Early Writers (5-7 yrs) – Hand strength, size, shape & spacing awareness, writing on the line, simple word building, fine motor games for fluency
Developing Writers (8-10 yrs) – Improve functional handwriting for classroom participation by targeting legibility, speed/efficiency, and written output confidence.

✨ Highlights from CPD Café at TAASC ✨
A big thank you to everyone who joined us for this month’s CPD Café session on “Starting with Ourselves: Understanding our sensory needs to better support children and adolescents”.
This month's CPD Café explored sensory processing from the professional's perspective, encouraging participants to reflect on how their own sensory preferences and sensitivities influence their wellbeing and interactions with children.
Drawing on occupational therapy and sensory integration principles, the session highlighted that sensory processing is a universal human experience. Through greater sensory self-awareness, participants considered how recognising and managing their own sensory needs can support more reflective, responsive, and sustainable practice.
Thank you to Sarah Bianco for offering such a reflective and engaging discussion.
Stay tuned for our next CPD Café! ☕
