This is a senior leadership role for someone who understands both the fast-paced realities of production and the discipline required to run projects profitably and efficiently. The ideal candidate is not only experienced in managing production workflows, but is also confident in team leadership, project monitoring, resource planning, quality control, and commercial accountability.

You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at a high standard, while maintaining strong visibility on project health, profit and loss, and team performance.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company across active projects and internal teams
• Work directly with the Managing Director to ensure strong operational oversight and business continuity
• Build and strengthen internal systems, workflows, and reporting structures to improve efficiency and accountability
• Identify operational risks early and propose practical solutions

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 & 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁

• Monitor the health of all ongoing projects from pre-production to final delivery
• Ensure timelines, milestones, approvals, and deliverables are properly tracked and managed
• Flag project risks, delays, budget concerns, or ex*****on issues before they escalate
• Support producers and project leads to keep projects moving smoothly and efficiently

𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 & 𝗣&𝗟 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹

• Track project budgets, margins, cash flow impact, and overall financial performance
• Review project costings and actual spends to ensure budget discipline
• Work with relevant teams to monitor project profitability and identify opportunities to improve margins
• Provide regular reporting to the Managing Director on project P&L and company operational performance

𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 & 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴

• Lead and manage the operations side of the team, ensuring clarity, accountability, and coordination across departments
• Oversee team resourcing and workload planning to ensure projects are properly staffed
• Help manage team performance, communication standards, and cross-functional collaboration
• Support the development of a healthy, solutions-oriented, and high-performing work culture

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹

• Maintain strong oversight on the overall quality of project ex*****on and client delivery
• Ensure internal checks are in place across production processes, documentation, and final outputs
• Work with producers and department leads to maintain high standards in both creative ex*****on and operational delivery

𝗥𝗲𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁

• Prepare clear weekly and monthly operational updates for the Managing Director
• Report on project status, team capacity, project profitability, key risks, and delivery issues
• Act as a reliable second-line leader who can help the Managing Director stay focused on strategic priorities

𝗞𝗣𝗜𝘀 / 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘀

The success of this role will be measured by:
• Overall health and timely delivery of active projects
• Percentage of projects delivered on schedule
• Percentage of projects delivered within approved budget
• Improvement in project profit margins
• Accuracy and consistency of project tracking and reporting
• Reduction in operational bottlenecks, miscommunication, and delivery delays
• Team utilization and resource planning efficiency
• Quality control across project outputs and client-facing deliverables
• Strength of team coordination, accountability, and workflow management
• Ability to identify and solve issues proactively before they affect project delivery or profitability

𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗲

We are looking for someone who has:

• 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝟱 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 in a production company, creative agency, advertising agency, or related project-based business
• Strong understanding of commercial production workflows, including pre-production, production, post-production, and client servicing realities
• Proven experience in project management, operations, team leadership, and budget oversight
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to understand project profitability and financial discipline
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
• Confidence in leading teams, setting structure, and holding people accountable
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work across creative, production, account, and management functions
• A calm, proactive, and solutions-driven approach under pressure
• High attention to detail and strong quality standards
• Ability to balance big-picture operational thinking with hands-on ex*****on
