When you enter one, you come face-to-face with someone in a distant Portal and can converse live, full-body, and making eye contact as if in the same room. Each Portal is staffed by a Portal Curator who provides translation as needed. While not a gold shipping container, our portal in Yangon is the same

The LIVE video call between Yangon (American Center) and California (Cuesta College) took place this morning. It's one of the most fantastic portal connections we have done so far. Students from the AC are happy to meet with people from California. People were amazed once they stepped into the portal and saw new friends from other countries. It's always wonderful and fun to meet new friends and have conversation. Thanks to every single participants who joined this LIVE video call.
