အနုပညာ၊ ရုပ်ရှင်၊ အစားအသောက်၊ ဂီတ၊ အသိပညာဗဟုသုတများနှင့် လူမှုအသိုက်အဝန်းများအကြောင်းကို တစ်မိုးတည်းအောက်တွင် လာရောက်လေ့လာကြသည့် ရန်ကုန်တစ်ခွင်မှ မိတ်ဆွေများအားလုံးကို ယနေ့ကျင်းပသည့် Cultural Connections Open House ပွဲမှတဆင့် ကြိုဆိုခဲ့ပါသည်။

အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စု၏ နှစ်ပေါင်း ၂၅၀ တိုင်အောင် ထူးချွန်ပြောင်မြောက်ခဲ့မှုများကို ဂုဏ်ပြုသည့် Freedom250 လှုပ်ရှားမှု၏ တစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းဖြစ်သော ဤအစီအစဉ်ကို သံရုံး၏ အကြီးအကဲ ဒေါက်ဂ်ဆောန်နစ်ခ်ကိုယ်တိုင် ပူးပေါင်းပါဝင်ကာ ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးခဲ့ပါသည်။

Today’s Cultural Connections Open House welcomed friends from across Yangon to explore art, film, food, music, learning, and community—all under one roof.

CDA a.i. Doug Sonnek joined us to help open the celebration as part of Freedom250, commemorating 250 years of American excellence.

Together with partner embassies and cultural centers, and generous support from KFC Myanmar, Krispy Kreme Myanmar, Pepsi Cola Myanmar, The Pizza Company Myanmar, California Milk Advisory Board, Proudly Wisconsin Cheese and RMA Myanmar, we celebrated how cultural exchange and public-private partnerships can bring communities closer and spark new conversations.

မန္တလေးမြို့က ဂျက်ဖာဆင်စင်တာကို တရားဝင် ပြန်လည်ဖွင့်လှစ်လိုက်ပါပြီ။ 🏛️🇺🇸

"ရှေးဟောင်းအမွေအနှစ်အဆောက်အအုံ" တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ ဒီစင်တာကို ၂၀၂၅ ငလျင် လှုပ်ခတ်ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့နောက်ပိုင်းမှာ အပြည့်အဝပြန်လည်ပြုပြင်မွမ်းမံပြီးတဲ့အထိမ်းအမှတ်အနေနဲ့ ဧပြီ ၂၉ မှာ သံရုံးအကြီးအကဲ ဒေါက်ဂ်ဆောန်နစ်ခ်ဟာ အထူးဧည့်ခံပွဲတစ်ခု ကျင်းပခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဂျက်ဖာဆင်စင်တာဟာ အမေရိကန်ပြည်ထောင်စုနဲ့ အထက်မြန်မာပြည်ကြားမှာ ဆယ်စုနှစ်ပေါင်းများစွာ အရေးပါတဲ့ ပေါင်းကူးတံတားတစ်ခုအဖြစ် တည်ရှိခဲ့ပါတယ်။

အခုလို ပြုပြင်မွမ်းမံမှုတွေ ပြုလုပ်ခဲ့တာဟာ လူငယ်ခေါင်းဆောင်တွေ၊ ပညာရှင်တွေနဲ့ ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် အပြန်အလှန်ချိတ်ဆက်မှုတွေ၊ လေ့လာသင်ယူမှုတွေနဲ့ ဆန်းသစ်တီထွင်မှုတွေပြုလုပ်ဖို့ ဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံပြီး ခေတ်မီတဲ့ ရပ်ဝန်းတစ်ခုကို ဖြည့်ဆည်းပေးမယ့် မိမိတို့ရဲ့ ကတိကဝတ်ကို ထပ်လောင်း အတည်ပြုလိုက်တာပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ပိုမိုခိုင်ခံ့ပြီး ပိုမိုဘေးကင်းလုံခြုံတဲ့ ဂျက်ဖာဆင်စင်တာကနေ လူမှုအသိုက်အဝန်းတွေကို ပြန်လည်ကြိုဆိုခွင့်ရတဲ့အတွက် မိမိတို့ အထူးဂုဏ်ယူဝမ်းမြောက်မိပါတယ်။

On April 29, CDA a.i. Doug Sonnek hosted a special reception to celebrate the full restoration of this historic "Heritage Building" following the 2025 earthquake. For decades, the JCM has served as a vital bridge between the U.S. and upper Myanmar.
This renovation reaffirms our commitment to providing young leaders, professionals, and students with a safe, modern space to connect, learn, and innovate. We are proud to welcome the community back to a stronger, safer Jefferson Center!
