DNA လေးက mRNA အဖြစ်မပြောင်းခင်မှာ ပါလာတဲ့ information အကုန်ကို copy လုပ်ပါတယ်။ ပြီးမှ single strand ဖြစ်တဲ့ messenger RNA လေးအဖြစ်ပြောင်းပြီး nucleus ကနေထွက်ပါတယ်။ ဒီအဆင့်ကို transcription လုပ်တယ်လို့ခေါ်ပါတယ်။
mRNA လေးက nucleus ကထွက်ပြီး Ribosomes မှာကပ်ပြီး bases (A,U,C,G) လေးသုံးခုကို amino acid တခုဖြစ်လာပြီး amino acids တွေစုပေါင်းပြီး Protein လေးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ Protein က cell ရဲ့ instructions အကုန်ကိုလက်ခံယူပြီး Structure ကိုဖြစ်ပေါ်စေပါတယ်။ ဒီအဆင့်လေးကတော့ Translation လို့ခေါ်ပါတယ်။
Transcription and Translation နှစ်ဆင့်ပေါင်းပြီး Gene Expression or Central Dogma လို့လဲ ခေါ်ပါတယ်။
