It was reported that 2 Rohingya women were r***d by 6 AA troops in , Kyaung Taung village tract of Buthidaung North.

On 01-10-2022 (Saturday) at around 8:00 p.m., 6 AA troops arrived in Phuzun Chaung Village, Kyaung Taung village Tract, entered 2 Rohingya houses, forced all the families out, and dragged Nur Fatema (38) into a house. It is reported that Nur Fatema (35) with the same name was dragged into another house and gang-r***d.

A family member said, "at around 8:00 p.m., 6 Arakan Army (AA) troops came and took the two families out. Among those, they dragged two women, both are the same name, Nur Fatema, into the house, gang-r***d them, and threatened them not to tell anyone."

Then, a villager told ZR reporter that the two women are the family members of farmers and Nurfatema (35) is currently pregnant.

In addition to that, they went to complain to the officer in charge at the AA camp in Badakar village tract, Ngsurry (Rakhine village) to take action against the rapists, but so far there has been no response. The Rohingyas of Phuzun Chaung village are a minority, and they are very worried that the AA will come again to commit atrocities and burn down their homes. It is also reported that the health condition of the women who were r***d is bad.
