FAWE at PANCOGED 2026:

Asego, Senior Advocacy and Partnerships Officer at FAWE Africa, will be actively participating in the 2nd Pan-African Conference on Girls and Women's Education (PANCOGED), taking place from July 02 – 04, 2026, in Bujumbura, Burundi, under the auspices of the African Union.

FAWE will be co-facilitating side events dedicated to one of the most urgent challenges: strengthening girls' education in conflict and crisis contexts. Through strategic advocacy and partnership building, Asego will help amplify the voices of girls and women who are disproportionately affected by instability and displacement.

A Milestone Moment!
FAWE will also be launching the Gender Equality Framework of the Continental Strategy for Education 2026-2035 – a vital tool for advancing gender-responsive education policies across Africa.
