🚗🇸🇪 Embassy on the Road: Strengthening Swedish–Macedonian Ties Across the Country
On Monday 4 May, Sweden’s Ambassador to North Macedonia, Ola Sohlström, sets out on a six day journey across the country, visiting ten cities as part of the #𝐄𝐦𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐲𝐎𝐧𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 initiative.

Starting in Skopje and continuing through Tetovo, Gostivar, Ohrid, Struga, Bitola, Prilep, Veles, Štip, Strumica, and Kumanovo, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐢𝐱-𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐭𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚 — 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐭, 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞.

Throughout the week, the Ambassador will meet with local authorities and partners, Swedish companies, civil society organisations, entrepreneurs, and diaspora representatives, while also showcasing the impressive results of Swedish reform cooperation in areas such as environmental protection, economic empowerment, waste management, and social inclusion.
