Dear students, junior professionals and academic community,
It is our pleasure to inform you that the International Workshop “The legal aspects of EU agricultural policy and the role of agricultural products in the trade relationship between EU and Moldova” is organized within the project Fostering European Integration of the Republic of Moldova with the specific accent on the agriculture sector nr. 610667-PPE‑1–2019-1-MDEPPJMO-PROIECT held on September 15th-16th in the State Agrarian University of Moldova.

If you are interested in the above mentioned thematic, do not miss the chance to join this event with interactive speeches of experienced and knowledgeable guests, presentations and case studies.
✅Objectives:
- To foster a better understanding of the youth (incl. students), researchers, academics, SMS, farmers, civil society organizations regarding the EU agricultural policy its mechanisms towards Moldova, openness of EU market, fair trade relations, the role of agricultural products in the trade relationship between EU and Moldova through a capacity building type event;
- To communicate theoretical issues in a policy-oriented way, bringing them into the practical lives of the operating organizations;
- To gather input from youth, researchers, academics, farmers, civil society organizations on how we could better reflect their concerns in the EU agricultural policy, the trade relationship between EU and Moldova;
- To engage Moldovan youth, researchers, academics, farmers, civil society organizations in current trade policy issues between Moldova and EU;
- To strengthen youth, researchers, academics, farmers, civil society organizations by raising awareness of existing mechanisms at their disposal through which they can voice their concerns;
- To elaborate recommendations for future development of the cooperation of the target groups and stakeholders.

Working language: English

✅Who can participate?
● university students from Bachelor or Master studies;
● youth associations;
● university lecturers and researchers, student associations, interested administrative staff;
● Representatives of public administration, regional administrations who primarily work with EU law/Policy and therefore require both theoretical and practical training in EU integration issues;
● Representatives of the diplomatic mission;
● civil servants from local, and leaders of NGOs;
● wider public (including local mass-media).
