‏قبل البدء باعمال الحفر يتم وضع علامات على اي شروخ او شطوب في سور الجار من الداخل و الخارج ، مع التصوير الفوتغرافي من أكثر من زواية من قريب ومن بعيد .

‏فقد يلتبس الامر على الجار عندما يراها بعد الحفر فيظن انها بسبب الحفر رغم انها قديمة .
