Is it too soon to start training for the 2027 Boston marathon?

2026 was a beast. 270k over 6 stages, endless sand, dunes and no shortage of daily inspiration.

Thank you for coming up with the idea to show up as a team. All three members of Team Eat Sand made it to the finish line. I’m so incredibly proud of us.

We often seek these life changing experiences for the camaraderie, self-sufficiency, and sheer difficulty to gain a different perspective on life.

I’m grateful I got to experience this one with & 💛

And I will definitely miss saying hi to every 🐪 I ran by.

Thank you Sahara Desert for kicking my butt and reminding me to be patient.

Endless gratitude to for the support, the encouragement, the nutrition. Des & I mostly fueled on Roctane Energy Drink during the stages, recovered with Roctane Recovery Drink and ate lots of performance potatoes for dinners.

Ran lots of pretty trails today, inspired & motivated by the results at the Houston marathon and Bandera 50k.

Wowzer… Oakland tech HS graduate, debuting at the Houston marathon followed by ,
both in 3:36 qualifying for the US Marathon Olympic Trials 💥🙌 And the amazing finishing 2nd in 2:26 just 5 weeks after running 2:24 at CIM 🔥

And .molly setting the course record at Bandera 50k and finishing 1st overall. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

I’m inspired & running is just the best ❤️

2025 gifted me time well spent with good people and opportunities to explore magical places ❤️🙏🏼
