Last weekend, we welcomed film and television professionals in the Moroccan community into our newly finished studios for a private inaugural workshop on virtual production, led by Virtualistic’s co-founder and Virtual Production director, Mr. Adnane Abouelouazne.

In this first session, our team demonstrated how virtual environments can be created and integrated into live shoots using professional technologies for Unreal Engine 5 software, including Stype’s Red Spy Tracking System, Real Time 3D Keying, rendering and compositing workflow provided by Stypeland and GreenKiller. Then, participants had the opportunity to simulate a practical case with real-time 3D keying and compositing. We concluded the day with a comprehensive open discussion and Q-and-A, bringing the concepts full circle and helping our participants discover the endless possibilities this innovative and practical tech could usher in.

We are humbled and honored to have organized the very first workshop of this kind in Morocco and we hope that it helped professionals who participated in this initiative to better understand the advantages of virtual production. We look forward to organizing similar events in the future to help our community stay at the forefront of innovation in the field.
