Indigenous q***r people have always existed.
Before borders. Before colonization. Before erasure.

Q***r Amazigh people are not “new,” “foreign,” or “imported.” We are rooted in this land, in our languages, our cultures, our resistance, and our joy.

From the Atlas to the Sahara, from the Rif to every corner of North Africa — our ancestors carried stories of plurality, community, spirituality, and survival. We carry them too.

Our bodies are not colonial territories.
Our identities are not up for debate.
Our existence is not a trend.

We are Amazigh.
We are q***r.
We are Indigenous.
And we are still here.

To celebrate q***r Indigenous people is to celebrate resilience, memory, culture, and liberation beyond colonial binaries and imposed silence.

We exist.
We resist.
We thrive.

الأشخاص الكويريون/ات الأصليون/ات كانوا/كنّ دائماً هنا.

قبل الحدود. قبل الاستعمار. قبل محاولات المحو والإقصاء.

الأشخاص الكويريون/ات الأمازيغ ليسوا/لسنّ ظاهرة جديدة، ولا “مستوردة”. نحن جزء من هذه الأرض، ومن لغاتنا، وثقافاتنا، ومقاوماتنا، وأفراحنا الجماعية.

من الأطلس إلى الصحراء، ومن الريف إلى كل شمال إفريقيا، حمل أجدادنا وجداتنا قصص التنوع، والروحانية، والتعايش، والصمود. ونحن نحملها اليوم أيضاً.

أجسادنا ليست أراضي استعمارية.

هوياتنا ليست موضوعاً للنقاش.

ووجودنا ليس موضة عابرة.

نحن أمازيغ/يات.

نحن كويريون/ات.

نحن سكان أصليون/ات.

وما زلنا هنا.

الاحتفاء بالأشخاص الكويريين/ات الأصليين/ات هو احتفاء بالذاكرة، والثقافة، والكرامة، والتحرر من كل أشكال الاستعمار والإقصاء.

نحن هنا.

نقاوم.

ونزدهر معاً.

On IDAHOTB — the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia — we honor every q***r person across Morocco, Africa, and beyond who continues to exist, create, love, and dream despite oppression.

Q***r is Moroccan.
Q***r is African.
Our identities are not imported. Our lives, cultures, and histories have always existed here.

Today, we celebrate our communities, our resilience, and our collective liberation. ✨

We exist. We resist. We thrive.

17 ماي ليس فقط يوماً لمواجهة رهاب المثلية ورهاب العبور الجندري ورهاب ازدواجية الميول.
بل هو أيضاً يوم للاحتفاء، بالوجود، بالمحبة، وبقوة مجتمعاتنا. 🌈

في اليوم الدولي لمناهضة رهاب المثلية والعبور الجندري وازدواجية الميول، نُكرّم كل الأشخاص الكويريين/ات والعابرين/ات وغير الثنائيين/ات في المغرب، وفي إفريقيا، وفي كل مكان، ممن يواصلون العيش والحلم والإبداع رغم العنف والإقصاء.

الكويرية مغربية.
الكويرية إفريقية.
هوياتنا ليست دخيلة، بل جزء من تاريخنا وثقافاتنا ووجودنا الجماعي.

اليوم نحتفي بصمودنا، بفرحنا، وبحقنا الكامل في العيش بحرية وكرامة. ✨

نحن هنا.
نقاوم.
ونزدهر معاً.

الأشخاص الانترسكس كانوا دائمًا جزءًا من التنوع الإنساني، عبر الثقافات، والتاريخ، واللغات، والمجتمعات.
أجسادهم/ن ليست خطأً يحتاج إلى “تصحيح”، ولا شيئًا يجب إخفاؤه أو إسكاتُه. بل هي جزء طبيعي من تنوع الحياة البشرية.

العالم الإنساني والتقاطعي يعترف بأن الأشخاص الانترسكس يعيشون تجارب متعددة ومتشابكة في آنٍ واحد: العِرق، والإعاقة، والوضع الطبقي، والهجرة، والثقافة، والدين، واللغة، والهوية الجندرية، كلها عوامل تؤثر على الوصول إلى الأمان، والرعاية الصحية، والكرامة، والانتماء.

وضع الإنسان في المركز يعني أن نصغي قبل أن نفترض.
يعني احترام الاستقلالية الجسدية وحق كل شخص في جسده.
ويعني رفض الوصم، وفرض “التطبيع”، والإقصاء.
كما يعني بناء مجتمعات يستطيع فيها الجميع العيش بحرية وأمان داخل أجسادهم وهوياتهم/ن.

في Roots Lab Africa نؤمن أن الرعاية، والعدالة، والتحرر لا يمكن أن تكتمل دون حضور أصوات وتجارب وفرح الأشخاص الانترسكس.
لأن الشمول ليس مجرد شعار، بل ممارسة إنسانية وثقافية وجماعية مستمرة.

أجسادنا متنوعة.
وكرامتنا حق للجميع.
وكل إنسان يستحق أن يعرّف نفسه بنفسه، وبشروطه الخاصة.

Intersex people have always existed, across cultures, histories, languages, and communities.
Their bodies are not mistakes to be corrected, hidden, or silenced. They are part of the natural diversity of human life.

An intersectional, human-centered world recognizes that intersex people experience life through many realities at once: race, disability, class, migration, culture, religion, language, and gender identity all shape access to safety, healthcare, dignity, and belonging.

Centering humanity means listening before assuming.
It means protecting bodily autonomy.
It means rejecting shame, forced normalization, and invisibility.
And it means building communities where every person can exist freely in their own body without fear.

At Roots Lab Africa, we believe care, justice, and liberation must include intersex voices, leadership, and joy. Because inclusion is not symbolic, it is structural, emotional, cultural, and collective.

Bodies are diverse.
Dignity is universal.
And every human deserves the right to define themselves on their own terms.
