Department of Rural Development

According to the direction of its activity, the Department engages and implements projects with the following tasks:

1.Development of the assessment data collection system of the rural area territory/ planning region development and the political impact and the assessment methodology.
2.Introduced modeling as a research tool for the household economic assessment of rural areas/ towns/ sectors in the regional level.
3.Improved modeling in the ex ante assessment of various policies, their tools/ development scenarios and the scenario impacts of the integrated support tools.
4.Developed mapping of the economic and social development of territories to increase the volume for planning of support and use of resources and the quality and accuracy of the economic efficiency assessment process.
5.Conducted researches in the field of environment and agrarian economics for the quality improvement of the rural territory development process and the policy assessment process and data adjusting for the needs of modeling.
6.Conducted researches in the field of social and tourism economics for the quality improvement of the rural territory development process and the policy assessment process and data adjusting for the needs of modeling.
7.Provided consultations and training on introduction of new practices in the rural area development management processes.
8.Conducted expert examinations and expert services for local and international institutions.
