Compass Box ir neatkarīga skotu viskija marka, kas dibināta 2000.gadā ar mērķi izcelt un uzlabot meistarību viskija maisīšanā (blending). Kompānija pārstāv ideju par to, ka viskija maisīšana ir mākslas forma, nevis tikai rūpniecības process. Katra pudele ir mākslinieciski unikāla un nes sevī sevišķu vēstījumu.
“The Spice Tree” stāsta par eksperimentēšanu un to kā viskija blending process var būt tikpat radoši piesātināts kā single malt izstrāde, “Oak Cross” iezīmē īpašo koka konstrukciju mucām: amerikāņu ozola korpuss + franču ozola galvas (heads) un “Hedonism”, kas ir pirmais Compass Box izveidotais viskijs.

Šonedēļ, Viskija Trešdienā, aicinām iepazīt Compass Box mākslas darbus- trīs dažādus viskija veidus.

Who said that bottle of whisky can't be a work of art?
Compass Box is an independent Scotch whisky brand, founded in 2000 with the aim of elevating and refining the craft of whisky blending. The company stands for the belief that blending is an art form rather than a purely industrial process. Each bottle is artistically unique and carries its own distinct message.
“The Spice Tree” tells the story of experimentation and how the blending process can be as creatively rich as crafting a single malt; “Oak Cross” highlights a special cask construction — American oak bodies combined with French oak heads — and “Hedonism,” the very first whisky ever created by Compass Box, showcases the beauty and depth of grain whisky.

This week, on Whisky Wednesday, we invite you to discover the Compass Box works of art — three distinctive expressions of whisky craftsmanship.
