Gin can be great not just in cocktails, but also enjoyed in food. In January let's explore series of Cross Keys Gin recipes – let's start with blackcurrant and gin sorbet!
You will need:
👉 1 kg berries (blended and passed through a sieve)
👉 150 g clear sugar syrup
👉 50 g linden flower honey
👉 Juice of 1 lemon
👉 2 – 4 tablespoons of Cross Keys Gin Black Currant gin
1) Wash and dry the berries, blend them until smooth and then pass through a fine sieve.
2) Mix the berry purée with honey and sugar syrup.
3) Add a part of the lemon juice. Taste. Add the rest of the juice if needed.
4) Lastly, add Cross Keys Gin Black Currant according to taste.
5) Pour the mixture in ice cream machine and follow producer’s instructions.
