The Video Home System (better known by its abbreviation, VHS) is a consumer-level, analog, videotape-based cassette standard. It was the dominant Home Video format throughout the tape format period.

In the mid-1990s, many VHS rental spots emerged in Latvia, often combined with early video gaming or VHS movie watching rooms, offering a new experience and entertainment for the masses.

It was also a tradition to rent this new kind of media, VHS cassettes, and a player for a 24-hour marathon of watching at home with friends and neighbors.

That is what we will try to do, but not for 24h. We chose to show VHS stuff and invite you to join this audiovisual excursion to the not-so-distant past.
