Please note that there is a change in “3G”-rule in public transport in Germany (3G = vaccinated, cured, tested). This applies everywhere in public transport but NOT for kids that go to school (driver = yes, pupils = no).
It is mandatory for every passenger to wear a mask (unless you are exempted out of health reasons). The driver is exempted when either the first rows of seats are off limits and the front door stays closed or the bus is fitted with a transparent screen between driver and first door.
In Germany the driver shall not wear a mask. This rule is effective once any bus crosses the border into Germany since 24 November 2021.
