Space technologies, scientific research and the future of astronautics – on 3 June, you will have the opportunity to hear about all this from Tuva Cihangir Atasever, the second astronaut of the Turkish Space Agency and an avionics engineer.

During the meeting, the guest will share his experience from space missions, talk about the scientific research he has carried out and discuss the challenges of working in the space sector. The event will cover various research areas, including astroparticle physics, genetics, brain hemodynamics, biomedical devices, and cellular and molecular biology.

As the spring exam session approaches, the Vice-Rector answers: what really determines study results?

The end of spring is one of the most intense periods for students. Exams and assessments quickly show how much has truly been learned during the semester.

And when the results are disappointing, many students ask themselves: if I did everything I was supposed to do, what was still missing?

According to VILNIUS TECH Vice-Rector for Studies Prof. Dr Živilė Sederevičiūtė-Pačiauskienė, the answers lie not only in learning methods or the time devoted to studying. A student’s engagement in the study process also plays a major role, and attendance at university classes has a much greater impact on results than is often assumed.
