Happy to share the new acquisition to our collection — Rapture III by Ukrainian artist Sana Shahmuradova Tanska, arriving directly from MOCAK Museum of Contemporary Art in Kraków, where the artist’s recent solo exhibition The Rapture was presented.

Tanska’s practice intertwines themes of dreams, collective memory, and intergenerational trauma. Her paintings are marked by organic forms, luminous color palettes, and an almost mythological visual language in which human figures merge with nature and imagined landscapes. Responding to the realities of contemporary Ukraine, the artist creates deeply emotional, multilayered works that explore vulnerability, transformation, and resilience.

Last week, the TAAD Foundation team visited the opening of the 61st Venice Biennale — a week filled with unforgettable exhibitions and conversations that will stay with us long after leaving Venice.
