Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Monthly reconciliation of GL accounts;
• Manual journal entries in the GL (accruals, adjustments, reclasses etc.);
• Conducting fixed asset accounting activities;
• Assistance in month/quarter end GL closing;
• Assistance Statutory Financial Statement preparation;
• Collecting supporting documents for internal and external audit;
• Assistance in filing VAT, Intrastat, Statistical and other legal reports.

Now we are looking for AP ACCOUNTANT (temporary contract for 1 year) to join our AP team.

About the role:
AP accountant will be a member of GFOR team and working with Paroc GmbH (DE), Paroc Limited (UK) and Paroc Polska (PL) companies. Main tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Processing vendor invoices and payments;
• Posting outgoing payments and closing open payables;
• Interacting with vendors regarding missing invoices, overdue payments;
• Making corrective journal entries in GL;
• Monthly reconciliation of AP and prepaid expense balances;
• Supplier master data management;
• Supporting Senior/Chief Accountant in AP related questions;
• Providing information on vendor invoice status in the system to responsible colleagues across the organization.

The EU Treasury Operations Manager is responsible for providing a seamless service across all Business Units for the Owens Corning’s European entities, including Composites, Foamglas and Paroc. He/She ensures effective tools and processes are in place to provide financial services such as global disbursements, reporting, monthly closings, cash and risk management, in accordance with European and Global Policies.

The role requires coordination and communicating across all back-office finance functions (shared service center, tax, accounting, credit, internal controls), but also with legal, sourcing and HR.

The candidate will manage a team of 6 finance professionals located in 3 offices, and will report into the EU Treasury & Credit Leader. This position could be located in Vilnius Shared Service Center or Brussels Office.
