Having come to valantic LT with no e-commerce experience, our Senior Software Engineer and mentor Karolis Krušinskas is very happy with his growth over the past year since he joined us 🚀

Up to that point, he used JavaScript and TypeScript, which has been beneficial as he now tackles more complex Serverless Back-End solutions that rely on these languages. “Before, I was primarily building system applications and web projects. E-commerce, on the other hand, has an entirely different business logic, which I had to master. It’s an entirely new stage in my professional development”.

While Karolis is learning daily on the job, he’s also appreciative of valantic LT’s monthly Learning Days. “These provide an excellent way to pick up new technologies or, especially, to maintain one’s skill in those not currently in active use” 💻

Karolis is also glad to be part of a young collective, driven to learn and to always move forward. What does it take to really thrive at the company? Karolis says it’s perseverance. “Sometimes, you need to struggle against yourself, do whatever it takes. You won’t always succeed right away, but if you stay the course and don’t give up early, you’ll be richly rewarded”.Karolis highlights the importance of seeking excellence in communication. “I say, if communication is on point, the project will turn out well – no doubt about it”.

The importance of team building is undeniable and universally acknowledged. “Looking at the bigger picture, what truly matters is giving people the opportunity to discover aspects beyond their work roles and delve into what motivates each of us. It serves as a pathway to fostering connections, developing strong relationships, and building trust.
