Last Saturday, Komponent had the honour of hosting special guest Saulius Damulevičius at our Annual Camp, where we were also joined by our Norwegian colleagues.

Saulius is an accomplished Lithuanian mountain climber who achieved the incredible feat of climbing to the summit of K2 (8611 m) without the use of bottled oxygen.

What struck us most about his talk was his focus on setting smaller objectives in order to achieve his ultimate goal. This is a key philosophy in our Team as a Service (TaaS) delivery model. We demonstrate real value to our clients in short, regular intervals. These short feedback loops help us react to ever-changing variables, maintain alignment, and accomplish our clients' objectives with better outcomes.

Last weekend, we hosted our Annual Camp, a tradition inherited from our parent company Miles. It serves as a platform for team members from different parts of the world to come together, cultivate lasting relationships, and share ideas.

During the camp, we engage in various activities such as team-building exercises, workshops, and talks by inspiring guest speakers. But we make sure to have plenty of fun activities too, thus promoting a healthy work-life balance!
