A throwback to The Hookup Dinner - THUDmaseru by The Entrepreneurs Network, sponsored by Standard Lesotho Bank and Econet Telecom Lesotho. Action Ireland Trust brought in a panel of entrepreneurs from Ireland to share business insights that could benefit Lesotho's economic landscape.

We had the honour of interacting, networking, and collaborating with other brilliant entrepreneurs running the business scene in Lesotho and abroad.

One of the most fundamental parts of building a house is the foundation. It has to be strong, stable, reinforced, and expertly constructed without cutting corners. In many aspects, this is similar to building a business. Just like some of the world’s greatest structures lie on the strongest foundations, great businesses should be built on core systems that form the backbone of an efficient operation; well-oiled structures that run like clockwork and allow processes to flow smoothly throughout the entire business as a whole. Strong foundational systems take time to develop and to perfect. Good people that effortlessly align with your values are hard to find and even harder to keep. And the amount of energy and resources it takes to put excellent individuals in a phenomenally strong system is often discouraging. And a lot of businesses take the shorter route to success, focusing mainly on profits while leaving themselves exposed to catastrophic failure, only to crumble a few years later.
