Montserrado County Senator Saah Joseph has dismissed one of his office staff members, Robert Myers, for referring to the President as a "Samsung battery."

According to an official Facebook statement from the Senator's office, this is not the first time Mr. Myers has shown disrespect toward national leaders.
"Mr. Myers had been warned repeatedly to stop showing disrespect toward national leaders, but he refused to do so.
This action is not solely because of President Joseph Boakai. Some senators have also complained about Mr. Myers' behavior, and the office believes it is time to take appropriate action.
