The purpose of the Corporation shall be to engage in any lawful acts or activities for which a Non-For-Profit Corporation may now or hereafter be formed under the Association Law of Liberia and in furtherance of the foregoing, the Corporation’s general We the young people and adult of the Republic of Liberia realizing that ethnic, social, religious, and economic differences are an impediment to co
mmon understanding (such understanding being the basis for progress) and further realizing the role of all Liberians in emerging society as an impetus for progress, have in an organized assembly, the 18th day of February, in the year of our Lord, two thousand, formed the organization for the purposes and objectives for which we stand, to be styled and called “HILL SOCIAL AND ATHLETIC CLUB INC”, a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political organization. Acknowledging our devout gratitude to the Almighty God realizing from the many experiences during the course of our co-existence which culminated into a civil upheaval, when the social, political and economic fabrics of all citizens of said locale including the young people collapsed, that we, irrespective of tribes, traditions, religions, creed or any form of ethnic vices are of a single body with the aim and objective of exercising our natural and inalienable rights to establish a frame-work of organization for the sole purpose of promoting physical fitness, through unity, peace, love and to promote transparency and accountabilities including practices of good democratic governance amongst us all and the society at large;
And being knowledgeable to the fact that as a pro-democratic grass-root organization in Liberia, we are obligated to holding on to the interests of the entire Liberian nation, to abide by the constitution of the Republic of Liberia and other laws forming part thereof;
The purpose of the Corporation shall be to engage in any lawful acts or activities for which a Non-For-Profit Corporation may now or hereafter be formed under the Association Law of Liberia and in furtherance of the foregoing, the Corporation’s general nature shall include and constitutes the followings:
1. This organization may engage in exercising and training and or in advertisement and carrying on other meaningful projects that will help the development process of the Republic of Liberia.
2. To identify and develop new approaches and strategies for promoting the corporation and its mission through community-focused activities.
3. To provide opportunities for members to contribute to the maintenance, support and development of the corporation through revenue generating programs and activities.
