This immersive two-week training will equip you with advocacy skills, expert knowledge, and global networks to advocate for a just transition, climate finance accountability, and policy transformation. This year, the training will take place in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 17 August to 30 August 2025.

Ministry of Health, Republic of Liberia in collaboration with the World Bank Liberia had a one-day Climate and Health Vulnerability Assessment (CHVA) to evaluate Liberia's health system capacities in responding to climate-related challenges. Stakeholders gather to review findings and gather insights for the next phase of the assessment. We were privileged to participate in this process and we look forward to the next phase of the assessment.

🌍💉 Climate & Health in Action! 💉🌍

On February 28, the ClimateCare Initiative, in collaboration with the National Climate Action Laboratory, hosted a one-day workshop on Climate Change & Health, bringing together 35 healthcare professionals—including doctors, nurses, public health specialists, and lab technicians! 🏥🌱

Through interactive discussions, case studies, and hands-on learning, participants explored the critical link between climate change and healthcare, gaining practical tools to tackle climate-related health challenges in their institutions.

✅ Mission accomplished! Attendees left inspired and ready to integrate climate-conscious practices into their daily work. Their enthusiasm highlights the growing need for continuous climate-health education in Liberia.

This is just the beginning! 🚀 The ClimateCare Initiative remains committed to building capacity and strengthening the healthcare sector’s response to climate challenges. Stay tuned for more workshops and follow-up activities!
