Today, my heart is filled with gratitude and deep appreciation to God Almighty for the gift of life and the great privilege to serve as Guest Speaker at the First Inaugural Ceremony of the Student Council Government of Ahlul-Bayt (AS) Islamic & English High School, located in Jah Tondo Town, Brewerville City, Montserrado County, Liberia.

I extend my sincere thanks to the school administration for the warm welcome and honor bestowed upon me. Your hospitality and commitment to nurturing young leaders are truly commendable.

In my capacity as CEO & Founder of YEAR-LIBERIA, it was a great joy to contribute meaningfully to this remarkable occasion by presenting a cash prize and awarding 15 scholarship slots for students to benefit from our 3-Month High School Public Speaking and Leadership Training Program (Cohort One). These scholarships are distributed as 10 for female students and 5 for male students, aimed at promoting inclusive leadership and equal opportunities for all.

I also made a pledge of my continued support to the institution and the Student Council Government, as we work together to empower young minds and build a brighter future.

Delivering a motivational speech on the theme “Resilience: Unlocking Your Potential; The Power of Resilience” was both an honor and a fulfilling experience. I believe strongly that resilience remains a key ingredient for success, especially for young leaders navigating today’s world.

Finally, a very big thank you to our dedicated team for believing in our vision and continuously supporting the mission of YEAR-LIBERIA. Your commitment and passion make all the difference.

Walker, CEO & Founder of Heart For The Hopeless (USA), for her generous full sponsorship of this life-changing outreach. Through her support, 75 young females from the Florida Community, Brewerville City, Montserrado County, Liberia, West Africa, greatly benefited from the distribution of menstrual hygiene materials, including sanitary pads, soap, toothpaste, and toothbrushes. Additionally, participants received valuable education on the topics of Maternal Health and Menstrual Hygiene, empowering them with knowledge essential for their well-being and future.

We also express our heartfelt gratitude to the leadership of Chairman Stephen P. Philip, Sr. for his unwavering support, cooperation, and commitment to the success of this program. His contribution played a vital role in ensuring smooth coordination and ex*****on.
