🌍✨ EMPOWERING THE NEXT GENERATION OF GUARDIANS OF CHANGE ✨🌍
Last Saturday, June 6, 2026, our Founder/ CEO, Amb. Konah KR Gayetee had the distinct honor of facilitating Session Two of the SUDA Liberia Guardians of Change Youth Development & Community Action Program at GSA, Paynesville, Liberia, where over 30 passionate young people and teenagers gathered to strengthen their leadership capacity and commitment to community transformation.
Under the theme:
"Community Action, Peacebuilding and Sustainable Youth Transformation,"
we engaged in a powerful and interactive learning experience focused on addressing one of the most pressing challenges affecting our communities—drug abuse and substance use disorder—while equipping young people with practical leadership, peacebuilding, and community development skills.
During the session, participants explored the critical relationship between drug abuse, violence, community instability, and national development. Together, we examined evidence-based prevention strategies and practical solutions that empower young people to become positive change agents within their families, schools, and communities.
The training focused on:
✅ Understanding the impact of drug abuse on peace, security, and development.
✅ Building leadership and peacebuilding skills through active listening, conflict resolution, teamwork, and responsible decision-making.
✅ Promoting youth-led prevention approaches through peer leadership, mentorship, sports, family engagement, and community service.
✅ Developing practical action plans to create sustainable community impact.
One of the most inspiring moments was witnessing participants make personal, community, and leadership commitments aimed at promoting drug-free lifestyles, mentoring peers, and organizing positive community initiatives.
Together, the young leaders proudly embraced the "Guardian's Pledge," committing themselves to purpose over pressure, peace over violence, leadership over excuses, and service over selfishness.
As he reminded the participants:
"The strength of Liberia will not be determined by the number of buildings we construct, but by the character of the young people we develop. Every young person who rejects drugs, embraces leadership, and serves their community becomes a living solution to the challenges facing our nation."
We extend our sincere appreciation to SUDA Liberia, community stakeholders, parents, partners, and supporters for investing in youth empowerment and prevention-focused development initiatives.
At GPBNet International, we remain committed to raising a generation of ethical leaders, peacebuilders, and responsible citizens who will contribute to building a drug-free, peaceful, prosperous, and sustainable Liberia.
The future of Liberia is not tomorrow—it is the young people we empower today.

Congratulations to Amb. Konah K.R. Gayetee on this well-deserved appointment and continued service toward humanity, youth empowerment, and global peace-building.
Yesterday, the Founder & CEO of the Chaplaincy Global Mission, Amb. Konah K.R. Gayetee, proudly joined the YouthLink Global National Public Policy Dialogue & Leadership Semi-Conference as both Keynote Speaker and Facilitator, contributing to one of the most impactful youth-centered policy and leadership engagements focused on Africa’s future.
During the final day of the gathering, Amb. Gayetee delivered a thought-provoking keynote address centered on the realities, challenges, and transformation opportunities within the African leadership context. He emphasized that national development and community transformation do not begin in government offices alone, but within the mindset, responsibility, and accountability of individuals.
According to Amb. Gayetee, Africa’s leadership crisis can only be addressed when governments, institutions, stakeholders, and citizens collectively understand that transformational leadership begins with accepting responsibility, promoting integrity, and empowering communities through action-driven leadership.
He further highlighted that empowering young people should never be treated as charity or political opportunity, but rather as a strategic partnership for national development, peacebuilding, innovation, and sustainable governance.
Addressing the youth directly, he encouraged young people across Liberia and Africa to stop depending solely on politicians as the primary source of change, and instead recognize themselves as valuable human resource capital capable of transforming their communities, institutions, and nations through leadership, innovation, service, and accountability.
In his closing remarks, Amb. Gayetee called on governments and development partners to begin treating youth investment as a national priority and long-term development strategy, rather than a temporary opportunity or symbolic engagement.
As Africa continues to navigate governance challenges, unemployment, civic disengagement, and leadership transitions, conversations like these remain essential in shaping a generation of ethical, responsible, and transformational leaders.
We remain committed to advancing peacebuilding, leadership development, youth empowerment, diplomacy, and policy engagement across Liberia, Africa, and beyond.
