We all may not write with the same tools, style or time but it is prudent that we write to express a deeper truth; a part of us that is not easily expressed. It doesn't matter which hand is used; whether right or lift, our thoughts are as an arrow, sharper than a saw.

Because uppertunities were bed sided far back, we used our fingers to fire bullets that have placed us in a cage of insecurity. We were forced out of our mothers' bed in the name of fighting for justice. Yet, those that misled us are as equally guilty of circling us with injustices, inequality, an imprisonment of poverty and an unquenchable peak of sexual and gender based violence.

Our pains are heavier and depressive as one could ever imagine. Never did we know that our struggles were personal.

We write not just our pains, struggles and regrets but we also flip pages that inspire us, erase ringles from faces with our poetic lines and reawaken hopes that have been trashed through our spicy prose, poetry and drama.

Our letters that are gathered into words, anticipating admiration of hopes are never gender care-free. It works beyond academics, cross oceans of wealth and embrace cultures of diverse backgrounds and/or concept.

The view of our natural and historic sites are also capture through the ink of our writings.

Yes! We write not just anywhere but Liberia, a place like nowhere else........
