Former President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf is sounding the alarm on the unchecked construction of churches and mosques in Liberia, citing noise pollution in residential areas as a major concern.

She's stressing that these institutions need to follow zoning laws, building rules, and urban designs to avoid chaos, Madman Sirleaf made the disclosure when appear on the State Broadcasting System.

According to Sirleaf, loud religious activities in crowded areas are disrupting daily life and hurting residents' well-being. She blames weak enforcement of rules for the congestion, environmental risks, and public complaints.

Sirleaf is calling on government agencies to step up oversight and enforce noise control and zoning laws. She's emphasizing that freedom of worship shouldn't come at the cost of others' rights .
