So, JNB think the reason development is slow in Liberia is because our officials are always flying around the world? 😂✈️
President Boakai says government officials travel too much, miss Cabinet meetings, waste money, and slow down national work. Now, no minister or senior official can travel without the President’s approval, and only one trip every quarter unless he says otherwise.
Interesting!
For years, Liberians were told:
“We are working.”
“Development is coming.”
“Progress takes time.”
Now we hearing the real problem was airport business? 😭
Maybe some officials know Brussels, Dubai, and New York better than Buchanan, Gbarnga, and Zwedru.
At this point, Liberia might need fewer boarding passes and more working passes.
But seriously, if this policy can reduce waste and keep officials focused at home, then the people will welcome it. Liberia needs results, not frequent flyer miles.

This is exactly why Liberians are frustrated. People are tired of the promises, tired of the speeches, and tired of seeing the same problems every single day while officials continue living comfortably.
If leaders can’t be held accountable, then who suffers? The ordinary people.
Liberia deserves transparency, honesty, or action, and not excuses.
One thing about the truth: it will always make people uncomfortable.
